Anyone else excited for the Nintendo switch?

{Ed001's Note - not me, I find Nintendo consoles utter cack. They are always out of date tech with a gimmick and childish games.}

The list of 3rd party games for this is impressive with Bethesda and other huge names.

{Ed001's Note - it will live and die by the games, so I will wait and see, but it doesn't even interest me as a Nintendo product alone.}

Have you seen it? It looks hideous and don't even get me started on the controller.

And as for the devs that are behind it, you'll find most of them are Nintendo based, there are only a few new faces, Bethesda being one.

The fact it has been called switch already suggests it's going to be another gimmick. It was make or break for Nintendo with this console and it seems that it's going to be more of the same. It forgets the people of my generation who played Nintendo when they were serious consoles. Just a child's toy now I'm afraid

Growing up I loved Nintendo. Buy have to agree with Ed on this one. The last few consoles are to much of a gimmick. It does look utter cack and the only thing that will save it is the 3rd party games. I was hoping for something that would push the Xbox and ps4, but instead were left with a mobile phone device pretty much.

My all time favourite game is/was Zelda . Absolutely groundbreaking . Now it's going to die with Nintendo! Imagine how great it would be on a PS4 or Xbox given the latest renewed love for that type of game in the elder scrolls and the witcher etc. I dream for the day . Never going to happen though

{Ed001's Note - what is so good about Zelda? I have never understood the love in for it. I played it a couple of times, but I could never take to it.}

I guess it's one of those things ed! It was the game of my youth and found it absolutely enchanting

{Ed001's Note - my daughter loves it too, I just don't get it. I mean it was an old game for her but she still loves it.}
