After completing Uncharted 4 at the weekend I was looking for something new and there was nothing that took my fancy so I took the plunge and bought GTA V to see what all the fuss is about. I think the last one I played was GTA 2!

And it still cost me £35!!

{Ed001's Note - my daughter enjoyed it for a bit, but I don't get the fuss. It just does nothing for me.}

I've bought a bandana and jeans 5 sizes too big to wear while I play it but I look more like Richard Madely as Ali G than 50 Cent :(

Oh and I put my wedding ring on for a bit of bling.

Word to your mother!

{Ed001's Note - 50 cents is not exactly gangsta, so I wouldn't worry.}

Ed007, have you pimped out your ride yet?

Man got to get 'dem customz ya feel?

{Ed007's Note - I pimped up one for Franklin that just seems to have completely vanished and the one I done for Michael his knob of a son stole so I've not bothered doing any more.}

Yeah in single player, there are a few "garage" issue's.

Multiplay you can own up to 40 or 50 cars I think it is lol.

{Ed007's Note - I've not ventured online yet. I have to say though that I'm enjoying it a lot more than I expected to.}

I read in the reviews before I bought the game that it was boring, they said although the initial missions were fun, they just repeat themselves in different scenarios. Although I understand where they're coming from, I thought the game was really fun. They introduced a whole load more features compared to GTA IV which weren't just cosmetic, they added 1st person mode(which I find helps with aiming), the ability to use shotguns and other heavy weapons in vehicles and the special ability in story mode which is really, really handy in places. Plus the whole 3 playable character story mode added a whole new dynamic to the game, perhaps further down the line(or in an episode) they'll make the story mode co-op.

{Ed007's Note - Funny that you should say that because only the other day I said to my Mrs how - so far and at least at about 50% completion - it was varied compared to the Assassin's Creed game set in London which just seemed to be the same things over and over again and became really tedious to play. I'm a huge AC fan and compare every game like that to them btw.
The 3 character thing works really well when you get used to it and Trevor has to be one of THE best characters in any game I've ever played, I love the guy!
I've just discovered a mission that you need to find 50 parts of a UFO scattered round the desert, that could become a bit boring so I left it for now.}
