Anyone else trying the Division beta? It seems quite interesting so far. Bit like a modern version of Skyrim, though you can't do the crafting etc in the beta sadly to see how that works.

Typical. i'm in nottingham for the weekend I missed the seige beta too

{Ed001's Note - ah sorry to hear that, I quite like it, especially when you hit the Dark Zone and get mixed up with all the other players in a big free for all. Though shooting a fellow agent gets you marked rogue and they all come after you for bounty then.}

I played the first closed beta and I was bored out of my mind. I couldn't tell if it was because there wasn't hardly any content or if the loot system was just awful. I ran around for hours looking for chests that hadn't been looted (couldn't find any) and eventually decided to just attack everyone I saw (which really didn't matter because they didn't have loot either).

The game is a good concept, I just dunno if it could keep from getting REALLY repetitive.

{Ed001's Note - they have improved on that bit. You now get loot from helping civilians in need and from most looters you kill, especially as you level up. I do wonder if it would become repetitive, but it would depend on the story mode. Having said that, repetitive gameplay has not stopped COD from entrancing millions.}

im guessing division is not worth the money then? i'm looking for an online shooting game to play, and thinking of division right now, are there any other games currently? wildlands are coming out soon I guess?

youve played the beta ed001? is it okay to play solo? I know its an online game, but I actually mean is it easy to join or get fellow players if i'm alone? none of my friends seem keen on buying the game right now.

{Ed001's Note - you are a lone wolf agent anyway, so it is very easy to fly solo. In the beta, once you hit the dark zones and you got into a shootout, people would follow the sounds of gunfire and flood into the area to join in. If the full game is the same, then you will find it is very much a co-op game, though you did get the odd one who decided to go rogue and shoots you in the back. Actually you have to be careful when you are shooting, as somebody always seems to be ready to run in front of you in a firefight and then, when you shoot them because they are moronic enough to run into your bullets as you try and deal with a gang, you end up classed as rogue and need to run for your life.}
