Anyone got any tips for fallout 4, Iv played about two hours and I'm pretty miffed by it all! It seems massive. Loads of things to do and I don't know where to start lol!

What does everyone think about Resident Evil 7? Think they'll go back to their roots with the old style zombies, and puzzles, or continue with the call of duty style zombies with guns style?

Never really got into Resident Evil myself. I like the zombies genre, but those games have just never been very good. Or at least the ones I have played, as I have not played all of them.}

Did you play the early ones ed? As in 1,2,3 and code veronica? They were awesome in my opinion. Then they went downhill from there. I enjoyed 4, 5 was bordering on bad, and I played the demo for 6 but as soon is I got into the gameplay I was in a machine gun fight with about 10 zombies. That made my mind up not to buy it there and then.
{Ed001's Note - not sure mate, I played one on the PS1 and one on the PS2, but neither were my thing to be honest.}

You play as a special ops unit trying to take out the drug cartels, big open world map with different methods to do a mission. The trailer is worth a look, just type Ghost Recon Wildlands in Google if you have 5 mins

I'm not 100% sure, but I also think its co-op, so that makes it even better!

It's good fun ed if you play seriously, as in with people you know, if you go with random players, 9 times out of 10 they will just be pissin about. Games like dead island and dying light were great. You could swap items with each other to make better weapons etc. What platform are you on ed?
{Ed007's Note - Right now I'm stuck with my PS3 but I'm getting a PS4 next month. I'd swithered and dithered whether to buy one for ages but as soon as I seen the Darth Vader SE one coming out for the Battlefront release it was like a sign from a galaxy far, far away that I had to buy one.}

i do play a lot of pay day 2, its a simple game really compared to wildlands here. bt it does look amazing. think I might just get this one.

i love the game alot. I like the co op aspect of games, where u can have other people playing other roles, ill normally do the stealth parts for our team.
also played borderlands 2, but it wasnt quite as fun as its mainly just shoot to kill without that much of an objective.
but wildlands here looks amazing as u can choose how u wanna complete a job. and open world too.

Has anyone played the last of us? Iv just started it and have to say, probably the best game I've ever played. The graphics and realness is very good. Also is anyone looking forward to any upcoming games? I can't wait for untill dawn.
{Ed007's Note - My Mrs likes the look of that, she's into creepy/zombie stuff. We're looking for games to get when we get our PS4 in November and that could be one of them so let us know how it goes as you get more into it.
I watched the trailer for Fallout 4 earlier, that looks like it's going to be a cracker, I love the Fallout games. This Star Wars game looks like everything I've ever wanted in a video game - I've not been this excited over a computer game since Elite 2 came out on the Amiga -I'm going to put on my Darth Vader costume and sit with Yoda playing through it..... We sit all day nd watch the video trailers together...

The new Battlefront Ed007? My friend and I still occasionally play Battlefront 2 over LAN on PC, we're also both looking forward to that game!
{Ed007's Note - Yes mate, I'm a huge Star Wars fan and as soon as I seen the limited edition Darth Vader PS4 and the trailers for the game I had to take the plunge, so I've got between now and November 19th to sell a kidney to pay for it :)

I'm still loving it ed, got to say it really is a great game. It's the most realistic game iv ever played, (even though it's got zombies). If you've ever watched the walking dead, it's a lot like that, not only fighting for survival against the undead, but also against the living. Got a great story aswell. I definitely recommend it when you get the new ps4 mate.
{Ed007's Note - Oh no!!!! You mentioned The Waking Dead! That'll be it settled for my Mrs, she loves that show.}

Lol, I fully expect it to be terrible, as it's on the frostbite 2 engine(same as the latest Battlefields) and they are rubbish. But saying that, the battlefront games were good before, so I'm prepared to give it a go. However, I will more than likely pirate it first to see if it's playable before actually buying it.
I know it's wrong to do that, but I've wasted so much money on games which are broken up on release that I just trust them any more. Lol.
{Ed007's Note - Not one bit of that makes any sense to me. Won't the frostbite 2 engine make any scenes on Hoth better?}

It does pick up ed, trust me. I didn't like the first hour, even when you come across the first baddies. But it's sort of a training period. You'll be out on your own soon, then it gets much better.
{Ed007's Note - Cheers mate. I was thinking it must pick up as I really couldn't see people raving about the game if it continues like the part I've played.}

Get the last of us mate, with them games you've listed, you should love it. It's one of the best games ever made in my opinion. Let us know if you play it though.

Hiya mate, Iv got both consoles, but I prefer the Xbox. It seems better for the online side of things, co-op play for fifa and cod. But there are some great exclusives out for ps4, such as the last of us and the uncharted collection. So it really depends on what you want from it. I'd say the Xbox Is slightly better in my opinion, but them two games make it a hard decision (the last of us is the best game Iv played!)
So in a summary that was no help at all! :-)
