the new final fantasy looks amazing tbh. i'm a big fan of ff7 and the remake was great too, especially if your a fan of the original.
ff16 looks like they're combining the battle system of ff7 into a medieval setting of ff. always loved medieval games since skyrim.

the PS5 looks set to be rather large as compared to the previous versions and against its competitor, the xbox series x.
are we seeing a return to a superior console or atleast somewhat close to pc performance? i know the specs have been released but some times the specs alone aren't enough. i'm guessing the size is also due to the cooling needed for the high end parts. would like to hear some opinions!

Maybe. But don't expect it to last long lol. PC's are always upgrading, optimising and setting new records.
You may need to look on youtube at some of the enthusaist builds, they are comparable to super computers some of them lol.

sure PCs are better but games like fifa are far superior on console. anyway were talking about the ps5 here, as its common knowledge pcs are superior when u combine with high end components.
havent found much time to be on my pc lately but i'm going to have to build a new one soon. mines already 6 years old haha.

Actually there may be a complete change to online PC gaming in the next few years, as there are some services that will allow you to play high end games on low end PC's. Services such as 'Nvidia GeForce Now' and 'Google Stadia' are growing their list of available games and the technology is improving monthly.
This will negate the need to buy an expensive hardware just to play the latest games. Could be interesting, especially if it's made available to console too.

i think were far away from that though. at least at a global scale. those that u mentioned haven't really had a successful launch and imo it only suits couch gaming.
any other game (especially online) that even remotely leads to latency issues, will not be a good option to play on stadia. that will be its downfall until the world is equipped with good internet. i'm from Malaysia, with 300mbps internet (pretty decent for home use where i'm from) but also consider that most games don't run their server where i am. itll probably be singapore/hong kong and that affects us alot.
'share screening' as from stadia would multiply the input delays. good idea, but maybe the world is not ready for it yet.
{Ed001's Note - even with good internet there will always be a delay, so they will only ever be any good for casual gamers. Hardcore competitive gamers will always need their own rig to run. The issue with the PS5 will be the price I expect.}

agreed Tris, i think that's why they went with an additional option without the blue ray player. it is absolutely to make bank on the psstore.
i suspect they would rather take a loss on the console to sell higher volume, as those who purchase the cheaper model, will be spending their money on the psstore to get games. brilliant decision if u ask me, console lasts for years and they'll make more money that way in the long run.

just managed to get myself into division 3.
im a decent player, not a great one, but the new division rivals is currently more competitive than the weekend league. the weekday games used to be relaxing, some tough games here and there but some fun games here and there too. i was never really worried about the results as the division would just refresh itself after 10 games (of after winning the title/getting relegated), and u get rewarded after that even when u get relegated.
i welcome the idea of division rivals, but removal of other 'fun' modes has really reduced my playing time. atleast tournaments should still be there, don't know why we nothing other than division rivals as an online mode outside of weekend league.
thoughts on this anyone?

so how was the first WL?
i wasnt doing well in rivals, struggling to get into division 4, and was only targeting gold 3 (14/30 wins) initially.
somehow i did way better than expected, managed to narrowly miss gold 1, finishing at 19 wins.

WL rewards are coming this thursday, excited for the red cards, could be getting mbappe with him scoring a hattrick. but thatll never really happen so i'm not putting high hopes man.
i really think division rivals are better than any division provided to us in early FUTs. in terms of getting competitive, training games i mean. as i often feel i'm being put up against equal skilled level players, that every game is tough.
previously even in division 1 i felt there were opponents that was just too easy to beat.
what has been removed now however (especially since they have removed online tournaments) there are no "fun" modes left. its either really competitive modes or single player modes, there's no in between.

so how many FUT players here will be playing the weekend league this year? as games have been reduced to 30 instead of the 40, i will be giving it a go again this year.
if any of you were playing last year what was your best and average finish?
i have placed in elite 1 twice, with 36 being my highest record, both were back in november 2017. occasional elite 3 finishes (29 to 30). but on average i finish gold 1. (25-28). with games being reduced to 30 this year, i'm targeting to atleast reach 20 wins.

I used to always make gold 2/3. Made gold 1 a couple of times. I’ll have to see during the week with work etc if I get the time to qualify!

30 games in and i am still yet to really pick up the changes from fifa 19. i lost 3 won 1 and drew 1 from the 5 division rivals qualifying games haha, but to be fair opponents i was facing somehow already have decent teams with players like sane martial lukaku. here i am with king and elyounossi.
slowly picked up form and i am now in rank 1 division 5, promoted from division 6. struggling to play my standard fifa 18 formation 4222, am currently playing 4321.

yeah hsf mate its been really hard for me this year. got a decent team now but still really struggling to get into division 4. seems like 442(2) is my best formation for now, with 4231 a close second.
really like the dynamic tactics function, i don't have to pause the game to swap around anymore, unless its something unusual.

how are you connecting all those players mate are they on 9 chem atleast? remember player chemistry below 5 means a penalty to stats, you can have a look in futbin.

also if you're not playing with a fitness team, there is another way to save coins on fitness, have a fitness squad (even with bronze players) and have your fitness squad play against a beginner CPU (single player seasons/squad battles/play against a friends team).
score 1/2 goals (5 if its squad battles) and just leave the controller, the cpu literally will not press u at all. once the game ends your main team will be at 99 fitness. of course it takes time, but it is time i can afford as i am able to do other stuff in between, but during the WL i use fitness cards as i do not have the time to do it 30 times lol.
although the points will be very minimal in squad battles, u do get some packs! win win.
