Struggling for a good co op on console with my better half. We've worked through the usual suspects and our favorite game is 7 days to die. Wary of arc on xbone as it just hasn't grabbed me on solo(please steer me right if it's worth a look with another player). The forest is due out any day now on ps4 but wouldn't mind any suggestions in the meantime. Also, the division or wild lands? Leaning towards wild lands but again, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers folks.

It can be either console split screen or two separate consoles for we have all- yet no awesome pc anymore. Truth be told if I had a gaming pc I’d never get an ounce of work done. Yep hsf, ark survival evolved. I think you mentioned it before. I honestly haven’t given it a fair crack but I only had it on xbone and it just didn’t grab me. It felt like a very lazy port.

{Ed001's Note - I have never tried that, I have played Division and it is a decent enough game on co-op.}

Zombie army trilogy
Divinity original sin 1 (2 will be released in a few months)
Until dawn ( not co op but good to play in a group)

Yes ed its very good. First person melee focused game meant to be played co op 2-4 players. Same developer which made left for dead.

Awesome, thanks for the help. I’m wary of a way out. Seems pricy for average reviews but maybe down the line. zombie army trilogy you say? There is nothing not awesome about how that sounds. Score on vermitide- we both have it free on Xbox live. I played the training but the main kept crashing so I reinstalled and plain forgot about it. I adored dying light but the leveling up later on really bothered me as it went on. I would survive for days and complete ten side missions only to die and ALL of my Xp would be lost because for some reason they thought this would make players appreciate grinding even more. Ugh, I’m still annoyed about that. Could have been game of the year for me back then. Strangely enough I’m not a sniper elite fan at all but I’ve heard the newest one is great. Far cry- ah it’s too easy. Far cry 2 on hardest difficulty is one of my favourite gaming experiences of all time and any since then have just disappointed me. Crushed my hopes would be a better way to describe it. Still waiting on the argument for wild lands? Anyone? Anyone? (Voodoo economics)

more of a couch co-op concept game, bt u can try out helldivers or broforce.

broforce is a side scrolling shooter game whereas helldivers is a top down shooter game. both fantastic game to be enjoyed, not really a serious game tho.

Borderlands next adventure will be coming out in 2019 as far as I know, so if you haven't played the first 3 games, get on it because they're all awesome!

Loved number one until.well you know what I’m talking about. Near the end of number 2. I totally agree that they’re awesome. Definitely looking to jump into vermitide. Adored left 4 dead.

The secret of mana remake is a good shout. Some people hating on it but I've heard really good things from couch coop fans.

As for vermintide, it was fun. A bit repetitive, as all games like that are, so I lost interest before I got to the end. But I had fun, and it is definitely difficult. Its not just mindless slashing, you have to block or you're going to die.
