I'm looking for a bit of advice here. I've just bought a brand new copy of Resident Evil 7 and I can't get it to install on my PS4. It gets to about 80% then just stops and the update file is there to download but it just won't let me download it either. I done a quick Google search and it seems a common problem but nobody I've seen has any solutions except rebuilding my database which I done but that still didn't help. This is my second day of messing about with it so any help would be great.

That sucks m8,have you tried rebuilding the database on your PS4,if that doesn't work it try and restart the install from the beginning while not connected to Psn then once the disk is fully installed try and grab the update

{Ed007's Note - You're a star mate! It took me 10 mins to fix it by switching off the internet connection and installing the game then reconnecting to download the update. Thanks very much for your help, GAME had no idea there was a problem with it and CAPCOM's suggestions would ha e required the guys off The Big Bang Theory to make sense of.}

Free up some space but I guess you might have already tried doing that. Try installing it offline again but delete the old install and download patch before reinstalling. Hope it helps

{Ed007's Note - I've fixed it now but thanks anyway and you're suggestion was spot on.}

Nice 1 glad to see it's working now 👍

{Ed007's Note - Thanks again buddy. It looks good so far and the wife will be delighted I'm playing something rather than shouting and swearing at the TV trying to play FIFA online.}

I need a bit of help if any of you have any suggestions, Every time I insert a disc whether its a game or DVD it comes up with an error message and makes a pretty terrible noise then spits the disc out. I took it to game they were no help, and another repair place said theyd charge me £40 just to find the problem then however much on top of that to repair it.

any ideas?

{Ed007's Note - Have a read at this mate and see if it helps:

www.gamefaqs.com/boards/691087-playstation-4/71918813

What does the error message say? If none of that works let me know and I'll have another snoop around for you.}
